Skillet Cookie

Made an awesome cookie in a skillet, crispy around the edge and gooey in the middle. Mix and bake all on one pan.

Needed something to decorate the office!  Variations of Collin blue.

Typography Poster for the Andromeda Golf Tournament

Each year Morgan's soccer club does a golf tournament.  This year I donated a new poster for the silent auction.  Don't you think the colors make the logo?

Soccer Signing Day

Ok so my daughter plays select soccer in North Texas, tryouts start July 1 each year and signing day is when you and your child sign away your lives for the next year to soccer.  She wouldn't have it any other way - it takes a lot to bear the Texas summers to practice and prepare for the upcoming season (40 + straight days of over 100 degrees this year didn't help)!  To celebrate we made cupcakes celebrating the Women's World Cup, USA Team and soccer!  She did a great job at making the cupcake toppers from scrapbook paper and and the cricut machine.  We put flags from around the world and found the cutest grass themed cupcake papers!  She did an awesome job!

Father's Day

A wonderful day to celebrate dad's.  My dad's favorite is coconut creme pie and my husband's is banana creme pie ~ why do they call them creme pies when they have meringue on top!  Anyway I thought I would make homemade pies for each of them - ok the crust was refrigerated pie crust, but the filling was all homemade!

Banana Bundt Cake

The inspiration came from the store Nothing Bundt Cake - they are moist and taste great, but.....

Mine was a combination of a couple of different recipes...a yellow cake mix, 2 mashed bananas, 1 box of banana pudding mix, 1 cup sour cream, 2 sticks of melted butter, and 5 eggs.  Mix well pour into greased/sprayed bundt pan and bake 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.  Stir can of milk chocolate frosting, place into freezer bag, cut the end off and squeeze lines along the pan edges.  Cut the stem and wire of a silk flower to approx two inches long and place in the center for a beautiful presentation.

Auction Items

Morgan's ASG Soccer banquet is approaching quickly and the team needed to donate items for the silent auction.  Came up with two photography prints that I hope make the foundation some money!

Great news! The banquet was Sunday night and the two prints raised $100.

Around the World....

A couple of weeks ago we dinner from around the world.  Day 1 - Kung Pao Chicken, Day 2 - Calabacita con Pollo and Day 3 - Baked Ziti!  It was all delish!  Even decided to make a special dessert on Italian day - chocolate chip cannoli's.

Made extra trays of baked ziti for my mom and sister (still in the freezer and need to deliver).  The kids hate to eat leftovers, but somehow this week it wasn't a problem.

Beaded Serving Set and Coffee Scoop

Found some beautiful serving pieces at the store and thought...hmmmm...why not give it a try.

They turned out so great, I gave them to my mom and sisters for mother's day a couple of years ago and made 12 more sets for end of the year teacher's gifts.  I think it's time to get this project out again.
